Sir, I am a software professional in testing field for 1.5 Yrs. I have a basic understanding of QA process. To develop further what step should i prefer? Basically intersted in QA tools. I work on Functional testing of a product, and Learing QTP by external. Please suggest me some steps??

QA tool for JavaScript heavy load application

Hello,
Could you guys recommend me a qa tool for automated regression/functional testing (open source or free tools are preferred) for testing a web application that contains a lot of javascript for opening pop-up windows, redirects etc.
I’m using HTTPUnit ans Selenium but these tools are not handling well pop-up windows and redirects.

Web 2.0 Style Software Testing Management System- any suggestions?

I’m on a look out for a Web2.0 based application with features which makes test management easy. The feature list should include; dashboards, live updating, reporting, communication tools for team members, a central repository, etc. And, I’m not looking at anything which will burn a whole through my wallet.
