IIS 6 SMTP server not sending emails
Our SMTP server is not sending the . to let the receiving server know it is the end of the email. Both servers are timing out because it doesnt know its the end of the email. We are using outlook 2003 with IIS 6

Outgoing SMTP server internal error 0x800CCC6c
Popping up often is an error message as follows: Task ‘mail.charter.net-sening’ reported error (0x800CCC6c) outgoing SMTP server internal error. Contact service provider. Service responded 452. 4.1.0. Try again later E32210. The service provider tells me this is an Outlook problem. I cannot get anyone at Microsoft to deal with this. Help!!!!!
