Social Networking with SharePoint
For my final year project I am required to create a social network using sharepoint. However have noticed sharepoint does not include tools such as a news feed, user profiles and instant messaging. Are their any free add-ons I can install to add these features?

SharePoint usability: Exporting data from the calendar
Hi, In my SharePoint calendar monthly view, I’d like to be able to control the fields that are exported when you select Export to Spreadsheet. From the monthly calendar view, SharePoint exports a very limited and not very helpful set of fields. Does anyone know any way around this? Thanks

Users not receiving alerts to new General Discussion
We have a company website on our SBS 2003 server. Some of the users are not receiving email alerts to new General Discussion items even though their alert settings indicate that they shuld be receiving them immediately. Is there some other setting that is impeding the sending of the email?

Would it be possible for the consultant who set up our Sharepoint server this year to have left some sort of a back door? We changed the admin password and removed some other strange accounts. Can he still get in?
