How to hide Distribution Groups in SharePoint My Site?

We have some Exchange Distribution Groups marked as no show - but they show in SharePoint My Site. How can this be hidden? Thanks. Moderator Note: This is a submitted question

Add a custom field to "project tasks" in Sharepoint?
