Using AD Global SecurityGroups as Sharepoint groups post email to Discussion Boards

we are creating AD Global Security groups and then using them in the Sharepoint Members, visitors and owners. When a user in the Members group emails to the Sharepoint Discussion group their email is not posted. I can see it get to the drop folder and be picked up by the timer job but it still...
