I want to report on the number of documents in my sites collection and have them grouped by document type, i.e. word, excel, pdf, wiki pages, power point. My objective is to establish how the organisational memmory has increased.

We use SP2010, enterprise version. When viewing data in an Accounts list, users sometimes cannot see “datasheet view”. No apparent rhyme or reason, no pattern.

How do I assign a SP column’s value from a field on an InfoPath form?

I have an InfoPath form published to our SP 2010 site. Once a new document has been submitted it saves the form in a ‘pending’ library where it waits for a workflow to be assigned.

I would like the title column in this pending library to automatically generate by pulling ‘name’ information from the forms being submitted. What is the easiest way to accomplish this?

Hi. I installed Sharepoint 2010 x 64 version. My sql server is Sqlserver 2005 + Sp3+ hotfix. I confingured sharepoint central administration with NTLM. When i tryed open central administration it gives me Service Unavailable

HTTP Error 503> the service is Unavailable .

My operating System is windows 2008 server enterprise edition x 64

How can Word use the additional fields of a lookup column?

Hi everybody, Like the title asks, I’m trying to use multiple data from a list in a document as fields but I can’t figure out how to add fields for the additional columns in a lookup column. For example, I have a list with clients and I want to use the lists information to populate information within a document; such as their first name, last name, and address information. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

hi,I have asp.net web site I need to migrate it to Sharepoint Server,placing the ASP pages in _layout folder I could access the site on sharepoint server, but accessing it requires me to type URL manually in address bar , can’t I migrate it such that it is just another SP site.I alos have added sharepoint master page. now I want to implment search for asp.net site. how can i go ?
