• Signatures of Trojans

How can I verify that there are no trojans on my network?  I would like to know where I can find signatures for the latest inceptions of the biggies in the trojan world.  I do not trust my anti-virus program and want to manually check md5s of files that trojans infect.

  • Report from check disk on active NTFS partition

If I run check disk on the next system boot, I'd like to know if it found and fixed any problems. Does it generate a report, and where would I find it? Someone suggested the event log, but I may not know what I am looking for: a log, a report, a breif line item description?
