owa Cannot acces owa from outside firewall
Are you sure your external firewall permits https (tcp port 443) traffic? Also are you sure you have a public IP address for your OWA server? Note that best practice is to use Microsoft ISA server in front of the OWA server so your Exchange system is not publicly exposed. See my blog entries [...]

Packet Filtering
Not sure what your question really is but it could be that the website header (if that is what you are asking about) may take more than a single packet to transfer. Most packets crossing the internet or WAN are around 1300 bytes of actual payload. The rest of the packet is protocol information and [...]

PGP Encryption on iSeries
Hi, There is no ‘native’ PGP implementation on the iSeries that I know of. If you don’t want to purchase a package, your best bet is to get an AIX binary that you can run in the PASE environment. IBM has an “as is” implementation on alphaWorks that’s free. Here’s the URL: http://www.alphaworks.ibm.com/tech/ibmpgp/download Rick

configure blocked mail notification on exchange 2003 server
Sorry…no, there isn’t a way; NDRs (Non-Delivery Receipt msgs) only get sent to the sender of a msg. There isn’t a configuration or setting to send a msg to a recipient native to exchange. But if you are using a separate spam product there is defiantly a switch to do this. The reason it is [...]

Need opinions on severity of security risk from vulnerability scan
Item #2 is your answer. Why be concerned if you don’t have to be compliant? I would also ask EEye what the report means on this specific vulnerability. In a way it may be saying just turn off optional services (as they should always be disabled). Some ways to measure risk include: How valuable is [...]

Im not saying you’ll use it wrongly, but others might, and for that reason, it’s not OK to disclose.

How to get Outlook folders to inherit permissions.
I agree- that is the default behavior for Outlook and there’s no way (that I’ve every heard of) to make Outlook think otherwise. There could be a possible work-around though.
