I am trying to deploy Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) 2007 to monitor our Exchange 2003 servers. I am having problems with mail flow monitoring and configuration. I ran the Exchange Server Management Pack Configuration Wizard and all accounts and test mailboxes have been created. I verified all permissions and rights and they are all granted correctly. However, I am not able to see any data in the Exchange Server mail flow performance data report.

I opened one of the test mailboxes and saw the test messages sent by SCOM. But the sender of these messages is from the sending server’s disabled mailbox account (serverAmom) rather than being sent from the mailbox access account that was created and specified during configuration.

Is this correct? How can I get SCOM to show the Exchange performance data, such as the mail flow tests? How long does it take to send the test email from server A to server B. Are there any delays?
