Hi, Can anybody tell me as how to transfer a save file from one iSeries to another. I am using FTP. I tried the following FTP "Remote machine" after loggin in Typed BINARY NAME FMT 1 then i tried the PUT command... it did not work, may be my syntax was wrong or something. Why at transferring objects (all complete library), initial authority from source equipment dis aper, lost, in the target equipment. I start creating a savf and save the library into, then, with FTP put the library onto target iSeries. Thanks in advance for your help

SAVSAVFDTA size of 2,147,483,647
We do savf of our libraries nitely and then we do a savsavfdta to tape in the morning. The log created of the savfs going to tape shows a few libraries showing the same size number of 2,147,483,647. Can someone please explain why? Are there limitations for savfs? PLEASE HELP! Thanks, JAC
