I have implemented a release strategy for PO approval. I’d like the PO to print automatically upon final release. I have done all the settings for printing that I know, but still printing automatically. I am using smartforms. when I preview the order on the smartform, I can print, but sometimes it’s taking very long before it prints – an example is there’s one I sent for print yesterday and only found it printed this morning. my problem is how to make this printing automatic, immediately upon final release, and also disable the ability to print mannually from print priview.

We have a requirement to print in character sets outside of the European character set. This covers Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Korean, Taiwanese.

Our existing outputs (50+) are not printable in these languages using legacy printers and existing fonts as the font that the outputs are developed in (helvetica) causes compatibility issues.

We have the option to redevelop the outputs in a different font (andale), but believe that we may have to do this for each new character set and will be very time consuming.

Can any one advise if you are using SAP and are printing ok in the above language character sets?

If so, can you let us know what combination of Printers, drivers and fonts you have configured please.
