Does XDN runs in a i5V7R1 with Appserver Win2k3

Hi Experts,
We are in migration from i5V6R1 to i5V7R1 and we have a doubt about XDN driver.
We would like to know if XDN runs in a i5V7R1 with Appserver Win2k3, we read the note 1257635 but we are not really sure if works well
If you have been this experience, please let me know.

Our Landscape:
One Central instance, data base server i5V6R1 (Currently runs with XDA)

SAP Kernel : 700_REL
Database
Client Library : DB4_53

Kernel Patch number : 309

Four Appserver Win2k3, one Appserver Linux Suse 10

If I am working with SAP in systems integration and doing research on common things to know…should I be focusing in on SAP Netweaver or something else? I am graduating in the spring and want to compile resources for myself and other students because we are not taught how to use the program and the different applications with SAP.

i am just thinking of what direction sap leads into? If it still is developing or has it already reached its peak?

Hi friends I am installing the SAP NetWeaver 7.01 SR1 ABAP Trial Version on my Notebook with Windows Vista Home Premium SP1, 2007 When I am running Sapinst.exe on step 4 (execute), phase 18 of 27 (import ABAP process) the application stopped showing the next message: An error occurred while processing option SAP NetWeaver 7.0 SR1 including Enhancement Package 1 > SAP Application Server ABAP > MaxDB > Central System > Central System( Last error reported by the step rogram ‘Migration Monitor’ exits with error code 103. For details see log file(s) import_monitor.java.log, import_monitor.log.). You can now: Choose Retry to repeat the current step. Choose View Log to get more information about the error. Stop the option and continue with it later. Log files are written to C:Program Files/sapinst_instdir/NW701/AS-ABAP/ADA/CENTRAL/. Do you know something about to fix this procedure? What roles, privileges, transactions should we allow the Oracle DBA to use and access. Presuming DEV-PROD. Were moving the DBA role out of the BASIS group. We know all DB.. transactions, plus ST22, and looks like SE11 and SE16 are suggested. Thank you for your help.

So for example,If we have 2 message structures(source & target).At run time the dom or sax parser parses through the source xml document. If we do a source to target mapping as in the example Matgroup –> RemoveContext –>MatGroup. So my question is what does the parser do in the above example. Does it read the source xml,change the source XML AND start to build the target xml from scratch by adding nodes. How does the parsing work & internally what are the steps the parser do to create the target XML. [2] In her example,She mapps the item node to the header target node. what happends then or what does the parser do & what are the elements which will be coming under the target header node. What are the conditions for mapping 2 fields or nodes(Both should have same level & occurance – Is that so?)
