how to do mass update of leave quota in SAP R3

Dear all,

We have just implemented SAP ecc 6.0 and SAP payroll. I want to update leave quota for all employees at the begining of calender year i- to carry mass update. this leave quota is same for all employees. Can any one guide me how to that? so that an employee can view and apply from SAP ESS portal

Validation of account assigmnent objects in SAP purchase orders

During creating of a purchase order in SAP, a plant maintenance work order or a WBS element is assigned.

In our SAP system no warnings or errors are given if the account assignment object has status “created”.

Is it possible to configure the system to only allow objects with status code “released”?

If a work order has status “created” an error message should occur

Error in job spool – Forecast release DP to SNP

Hi Everyone, I am facing error logs in the batch job which releases forecast from DP to SNP Forecast release job – Weekly – Through background job Forecast category – FA

Error 1: – Characteristic combination appears on batch job log with an error that “GMC does not exist ” Even though it exist in R/3 and APO All products with error message “Product does not exist” from do exist and have Forecast in Product View

Error 2: – Deleted KCC keep showing up on the Demand Forecast release job log as errors even though they are invalid KCC and were deleted previously. How do they get removed from error log so they don’t get created again Material does not exist on the APO Product Master, in R3 there is a delete flag and the MRP type is set to X1 ,it does not exist in the APO Product Master and does not exist in R3.

Request you to kindly provide any way forward which may be causing error logs of the job

GL Sub-ledger codes in SAP

Here’s my question: From a GL perspective, when you have a transaction that comes from the AP or FA sub ledger is there a field that is different to indicate that it came from the sub ledger and not from a online or BAPI load direct into GL? I’m thinking it is data source but then I’m thinking that the transaction type may be different, does a 31 and 21 in the transaction type field sound right? Thx, Todd

I have a bunch of data that i need to get out of SAP and put it into a Excel spreadsheet daily. i need to look up the hours on several different parts and operations. is it possible for me to writed a VBA program that will call a SAP macro give that macro data and export run the report and export to excel, and repeat. I am pretty confident with my excel VBA skills but i dont have a clue about SAP. any help would be appreciated.

T-code USMM, tab user classification, displays Class type that we assoc with license type. In a custom report we cannot identify the SAP Tbl/field for this data – where do we find it ?

How can I prevent users from accessing the wrong profit center data – e.g. if 2 profit centers use the same vendor, isn’t there someway to prevent a user from picking the vendor from another profit center instead of their own?
