is there something called FEATURES in custom infotype creation and if so how can it be used to control display of a structure or group of fields in screen display for a particular subtype of the infotype….without doing any loop at screens for each field…any answers ,hints suggestions,related links,pdfs,materials is welcome..pls help if u know

Is there anyway to change a customer defined infotype definition so only one infotype record can be active no matter what the subtype is? I moved someone from a Subtype of 0001 to 0002 and I still have 2 active IT9999 for a person.
