Flat files vs. EDI
I need to send purchase orders to vendors via EDI for R/3 v46B. Couldn’t I just send a flat file (text file) containing the purchase orders to the vendors instead of using EDI? What is the difference between sending a flat file and EDI? Please post your thoughts!

I am implementing a project to automate the manual entry of invoice and credit memo data into transactions FB70 and FB75. What type of IDoc and message type must I use in order for me to pass this information into SAP? Thanks.

Migrating Legacy apps to SAP 4.6c, but a Legacy SD system that maintains all customer and sales data will be used in the interim. So w/o any customer or sales information in SAP, is CO-PA reporting possible with interfaces from legacy?

Internet Address for user & HR Master Data
We are manually maintaining the internet address on the user master records (transaction SU01) and on the communication infotype 105 (transaction PA30).
