Evaluating Workflow Software Vendors

I have been tasked with selecting a workflow tool for my client. I cannot seem to find any independent research that evaluates the various workflow software vendors. I’m trying to come up with a short list of vendors from which to request demos.

I could not find any information on Gartner or Forrester.

How to dig out ” lost ” workflow in SAP

One workflow was checked, and forwarded to upper level manager for review and approval, mighted be not released from ” reserved ” . both forwarder and upper manager can not find this workflow in their SAP Inbox. even SAP prompted this wrokfolw was reserved by upper manager, and in forwarder’s outbox, this workflow show it’s status as ” ready”, anyone can help on solution how to dig out this workflow, it should not be really lost, but we don’t know where it is.

I’ve created a SAP workflow that sends an email to the initiator of the workflow. But I it also needs to send an email to the initiators’ manager. How can I go about to do this? It basically needs to read the organizational structure to get the manager of the initiator.

How to check other user’s SAP inbox message

there is a user got message in his inbox which should not be received by him. How can I check his inbox messages by using some T-code?

I tried SW15 and use his user ID to search but cannot find the target.
So here comes another question? I doubt that this kind of message is not trigger by workflow which is the reason I cannot find it in SW15.( I guess it might be triggered by customized program). If my assumption is true, how can I find the message and track it to figure out the related program?

Requisitioner in SAP MM PO workflow

HI all,

We are implementing Business Workflow for SAP MM where the PO release startegy require the use of field AFNAM, the requisitioner. The field is not available in table CEKKO, but have added it through the inclide CEKKOZZ. However, when this field is included in the release strategy, it is not working – when we remove the field from the strategy, the workflow works. I’d really appreciate any help in identifying what I am missing.

How do you tell Workflow to send an email to the initiator’s manager?

I’m trying to create a workflow that will send an email to an employee’s manager when that employee creates an expense report through the Portal.

I’ve got the workflow set up and it currently sends to me when an expense report is created. So that part isn’t really an issue. The issue is how do I tell the workflow to send to the employee’s manager? I’m not familiar with HR and don’t know how to tell it to use the organizational structure to get the manager. HELP!?
