How can I prevent users from accessing the wrong profit center data - e.g. if 2 profit centers use the same vendor, isn't there someway to prevent a user from picking the vendor from another profit center instead of their own? Software/Hardware used: SAP

Where can I find information on SAP data transfer protocals? (IDOCS, web serves, etc.) We will be using formula info from SAP to produce a finished good. The orders will be processed in SAP and all appropriate data needed to produce the orders will be transfered to a batch control system.
