Telephony presence icons missing

Hello,

I am in the process of testing Avaya AES Sametime integration for click to call functionality and working in my test environment. With IBM Sametime 8.0.2 client (both embedded and standalone), I can see the telephony presence icons next to Sametime presence icons and I can see their status getting changed (while on call).

However, I am not able to see these telephony icons in sametime 8.5.1 or 8.5.2 Standalone/Embedded clients. The click to call functionality still works but the icons are missing.

I am running SAMETIME8.5.1_20100712.1117.

I tried to add following lines to my plugin_customization file at c:LotusNotesframeworkrcp locaiton but that didn’t help

com.ibm.collaboration.realtime/enableSUT=false
com.ibm.collaboration.realtime/enableTelephonyStatus=true
com.ibm.collaboration.realtime/enableExtendedStatus=true

Any help on getting these icons in the client will be greatly appreciated.

NOTE: I only have a Sametime community server in my current test setup. Not sure if telephony presence icons in 8.5.1 or 8.5.2 requires SUT or Media Manager server.

Methods for moving a user (Lotus Notes 8.5.2) to another Sametime 8.5.1 server

We currently have 2 Sametime 8.5.1 server and 350+ users on Notes 8.5.2 using the embedded IM client. What are the methods of moving them from one server to another. I was able to accomplish this by replacing the community-config.XML. However, the contact list are duplicated because the previous server community is still there. It’s resolved if I remove the old server but I want to do this as seamless as possible.

Issue with Lotus Sametime Connection relating to wireless dormant mode

I am having an issue with my Sametime. It “disconnects” every 20 seconds when my verizon wireless card goes into dormant mode. I recently upgraded my LN from 8.0.2 to 8.5.1. Prior to this upgrade, LN and Sametime were unaffected by the wireless activity.

Buddy List not displaying in Lotus Sametime

How do you fix the problem of a user’s buddy list in 6.5 not displaying? They can chat with someone as long as they are contacted. The show/hide options in the toolbar and the status bar do not show it.
