OK, running Win2K3 Server x64 Standard fully patched. RRAS/VPN was configured on primary NIC but then stopped working. We added a secondary NIC to the server just for the RRASVPN configuration and the VPN would then work properly. However, after about two months, the server couldn’t resolve DNS, local clients (not VPN) were disconnecting from our datbase etc. I believe this was due to return packets being routed out the 2nd NIC’s gateway and not the primary NIC. I went into the secondary NIC (for RRAS) and removed the default gateway. Server can resolve DNS now, local clients are staying connected etc., but it broke the VPN. So, my question is how can I get RRAS/VPN working properly with two NIC’s?

I have a problem with my Windows Server 2003 SP1. I configured it as a router with 2 NIC (WAN and LAN) to provide internet access to our clients as an ISP, and this is working very well.
My problem started when a client asked me for remote access directly from a public IP address to his private IP address. I tried to do it with address pool reservation in my RRAS but it is not working. I don’t know what to do now. Can you help me?
