How can I configure routing between two VLANs on different switches?
We have one C3560 switch, on which we have configured two VLANs. VLAN 1 is 10.1.1.x and VLAN 2 is 10.1.30.x; the subnet mask for both is 255.255.255.0. We want to configure routing between these two VLANs. How can I do this? Please note that these two VLANs are on the same switch.

How do you get the VLAN protocol to go ‘up’?
I’ve forgotten some information on VLAN protocols. I am butting my head against the wall right now trying to get the VLANs on my Cisco 2811 router to change to up/up from up/down. Does anyone know how to get the protocol of a VLAN to go “up”?  I’m just plain forgetting it all right now.[o:p][/o:p]

Can’t connect D-Link media converter with Cisco switch 2950
I am using Cisco switch 2950 connected with a D-Link media converter. When power is reset, that switch is up but the port connected with the media converter is down. After I reset power of the media converter, the link comes up. What’s going on here, and how can I fix this?
