I’m developing a database application using VB.net. I would like to use SQL Server Express for the database so that my customers won’t have to purchase additional software along with the cost of my software. One of my requirements is that the application can use merge synchronization. Will merge synchronization work using RMO or some other method on installations where only SQL Server Express is available? A typical scenario would be where two or more PCs access the database on a network server while one or more notebook PCs (not always connected to the network server) have a local database that occasionally needs to synchronize to the network server. Thanks for your input.
