I am trying to move an entire report server to a different server. When I move the databases and config files all of my shared data sources do not have a connection string and credentials in them. How can I move SSRS data sources with connections strings and credentials to another server?

Hello, I am running reporting services 2005. I created a subscrition for a report named “paid_claims” that will auto generate an excel file into a shared folder on the network. The “paid_claims” report has a link to another report named “sub_paid_claims” in the same folder. We recently renamed our server from MEDI01a to MEDI01, when the subscription generates the report it generates the link with the old server name when I manually generate the report myself without using the subscription the link generates fine. I cannot seem to find a fix for this. Thank you for your help.

Grant users rights to run reports on reporting services

How do I grant users rights to run reports on reporting services? Those with admin access can run them, but users without admin access can’t – they get an error that they don’t have access to the data source. When setting up the source, we used windows authentication. I’ve given clearance on the website itself and in management studio I gave the user public clearance and added her to the RSExecRole. She still gets the same error messages. I can’t find any specific spot to grant access to the data sources themselves.

Create report using Reportingservice, from a selected record from Datagrid

Is it posible to bind the data from a record to a report, by clicking on that record in a Datagridview.

ReportServerService restarting after app domain cant unload

SQL Server Reporting Services (MSSQLSERVER) service terminated unexpectedly. We are rs2005 Version 9.00.3239.00. What is causing this error to happen when in the ReportServerService_Main log there are 11 attempts to unload the app domain from 14:16:18 to 14:19:04 and then this error => e ERROR: Unable to unload app domain, terminating process

and the ReportServerService stops

We are experiencing problems with memory and other performance related issues. This is a scaled out deployment with ssrs installed on 2 server web farm (used to be 3) with windows 2003 sp2, 32GB RAM. Customers run 100s of subscriptions (some quite long running) and we are running into issues with memory and the server hangs up or services crash and restart

Exporting large files in Reporting Services 2005

Reporting Services 2003 uses a lot of memory for the Excel Export, making it impossible for files 15 MB or larger. Is this still an issue in Reporting Services 2005 or above?
