Registry files in Windows server 2003
Where are the registry files stored in Windows 2003? Can they be modified offline with a boot disk? Can we backup and restore them offline as well? If so is this a security issue? Can someone inject a registry entry with a username and password?

my pc’s windows registry editor was disabled by administrator.i was supposed to be the administrator bcoz i own this pc.what can i do to enable my registry editor?i’ve tried opening my admin account but it doesn’t say anything about changing settings with regards to registry.i hope u could help me. thanks much………..
