I want to retrieve Job number & user name for a particular job name.
I come to know that through ‘QUSLJOB’or ‘QUSRJOBI’ we can retrieve Job number & user name for a given job name.Is it possible ?
I tried doing in the system through CL but it retrieves the current job name info running in the program not the job name specfied in the program. Appreciate your help

I am trying to retrieve, within a CL program, the information under the WRKJOB command – with OPTION(*CMNSTS) selected.
I am successfully using the API QUSRJOBI in a CL program to retrieve information such as Current User but I can’t see any reference that looks like the Communication Status panel. I am specifically trying to capture the ‘Number of Operations’ numbers: Output, Input and Other. This information must be available somewhere but I haven’t managed to find it yet!
Do you know of another way that I can retrieve this for multiple jobs within a CL program?
I am basically looking for movement in these transactions over a set time period to decide if the job is active or not.
