I need to take the AS/400 system down for printer to network testing. I know how to pwrdwnsys, How do I bring the system back up? Is it as simple as pressing in the power on button on the front panel of the AS/400? Or do I need to do a manual shut down then bring it back up from the box?
Hi, In a situation, where operator issued PWRDWNSYS with out his/her knowledge..Being system admin how can i stop the Process of IPL? What would be the better thing to stop it. Regards -Qmaster
MY TAPE DRIVE WENT DEAD PULLED IT OUT. I ISSUED A PWRDWNSYS COMMAND. IT WENT DOWN BUT I DID NOT UNPLUG THE BOX. AS SOON AS I BROUGHT THE BOX BACK UP I RECEIVED A CPPEA55 ERROR MESSAGE.
