Hi, I’m looking for a VBScript that will search and display complete path of an exchange Public Folder (either using Outlook or other tools) and then export ACL (all members with their permissions”. For first part, since Outlook search is very slow, it would be nice if the script can do a better job. Thanks, Saura
I added new folders to our Public Folders in Exchange 2003. When I open Outlook, cannot see the new folders added. I gave all the right to my group and users.
Hi Guys, We have an SBS 2008 Machine running Exchange, and we have setup a public folder with contacts in it to share around the company. Problem is that each day we come in and it seems that randomly contacts are disapearing in bulk from the lists. I keep restoring it, but next day another [...]
An hour ago I discovered an article, which said something unbelievable: In Outlook Exchange 2007 and 2010 you CAN’T index or search public folders. I did some research but I’ve found no proof that this is a wrong information. Do you really have to use third-party-stuff now, when you want to search public folders????
I have been tasked with making public folders work for our organization. The main issue I see is that Explicit folder permissions assigned via Outlook are not working. Specifically, Administrators can create top level public folders, users can’t (desired), after assigning a specific user editor permission in a subfolder, the user can still not do [...]

I have client permissions for the anonymous user are set to Contributor but it still does not work. The Exchange SysAdmin (me) and the outside sender will eventually recieve and NDR [...]

Is it possible to grant one user the same permissions on all folders, under the Public Folders tree, instead of setting the permissions on each folder separately? (Exchange 2003, Outlook 2000) Basically, the user will get permission to create appointments on all calendars, but I’m hoping to do this at one time, instead of having [...]
