Hi, this is Brian Eastwood. I’m the editor of a fairly new TechTarget site called ConstructionSoftwareReview.com, which, as its name implies, focuses on construction software products.

To that end I wanted to throw a question out to ITKnowledge Exchange readers — what is your favorite construction project management / scheduling software tool? Are you using Microsoft Project? What about Sage or Primavera? Viewpoint? Prolog? Something else entirely? What makes the software so appealing to you — was there one feature that made you shout, “I need that now!” or was it the whole package that impressed you?

I’d love to spark a conversation about the best (or, heck, the worst) construction project management software tools on the market. I know there are dozens of products from which to choose, and any guidance that we can collectively provide will certainly help anyone who is thinking about investing in construction software.

Thanks for your input.
–Brian
