On a Server I look after a Trend-Micro service was stuck in the stopping state. As I couldn't stop/start it even from the command prompt I figured that it must be waiting on something else before it can stop. I closed Trend and this didn''t make a difference; I checked all the running processes...
When there are no programs open on my system there are usually 62 process running. Is this normal? Also, is there a good site to find out what each process is for?
