Laptop to emulate a serial printer?
I have some legacy machines with RS-232 ports, through which they can output statistics (with 9600 bps & 8E1 settings). How can I make my laptop to emulate this kind of a printer?

printer problems we have a dell 5100cn but we can not print through our AS400

IBM Infoprint 32 emulation on Infoprint 1572
Has anyone upgraded/replaced an Infoprint 32 with an Infoprint 1572? I need to set up the 1572 so that it can be used interchangeably with the 32 – I followed the recommended settings for the emulation in the 1572 manual, but it doesn’t work. Anybody using these two printers for the same job stream?
