Windows Server 2003 ping/monitoring capabilities
Does Windows Server 2003 have built in ping/monitoring capabilities to alert us if a server goes down? If so how can we set this up?

Pinging an IP address in certain sign-on programs while using CICS
We are using the CICS Web Interface. In our sign-on program, DFH$WBSN, we would like to check the IP address. Is it possible to obtain an IP address of a CICS Web Interface client session via this sign-on program?

Can’t connect to Windows Server 2003 from Vista PC

I had provided ip add for two computers as follows on server ip -10.1.1.1 dns- xyz.local on workstation ip-10.1.1.2 dns-xyz.local I can ping the workstation from server but not from workstation. What is possibly wrong i am doing? Please Help.
