Cat6 vs 25 pair
I am installing patch panels between 4 cabinets, less than 16ft apart. They want it tested to Cat6 spec’s, but they want 25 pair cable used. Is there a performance difference?

What are the industry best practices for cabling high-density production server cabinets with patch panels? And where should you fix the patch panels — under false flooring, inside the server rack or with an over head cable tray?

I want to run more cables to our patch panel from extra RJ45 drops. Is it safe to connect the cables whilst the systems are running. Also, should the cables to the pin slots on the patch panel be the same color code configuration (T568B) as that of the keysone jack or crossed

I need to build a network for a building that has a couple of floors and several hundred computers. what are patch panels and how are they used with switches to connect computers to the network and the wiring closets on each floor together?
