I’m trying to connect to my OWA externally. I’m currently running MS Exchange Server 2003 along side MS SBS 2003. I can access OWA perfectly on site but when trying to access via the internet http://MyPublicStaticIp/exchange I receive a page not found. My server is connected to the internet via a Draytek 2800 series ADSL Router and I have VPN set up via the router which I can access with no problems using my Public static IP. I am not running ISA at the moment but as I understand that although this adds extra security it is not a necessity. I am also not running front and back end exchange servers. Any help to resolve this issue would be much appreciated.

When you logon to your OWA account through Internet Explorer does it get logged anywhere? Does it show that your account was accessed? If so, where and what information is available. The reason I’m asking is because I think someone at my work (we have outlook within out network) is accessing mine and others accounts from home/other computers. We’ve been told to change our passwords, but is there anything that can be done to find out who the person is? Or do we just change out passwords and move on?

We have been migrating our exchange 2003 to another server (from a domain server to a member server). All is well but the OWA. You can log in with a domain/user and it will let you go no problem if you click a url in email it will redirect you out.

But we changed this so the users only have to put in their username and password to get in. Using the clear text option. Now when they click on a link in a email they are ask to input their username and password again with the domain include.

Does anyone have a idea what is going on?

The final outcome we want is users have only input username and password on login. Once in they will not be required to input credencials again for links

I did try going to the AD account, security tab, advance, check the “inherit” checkbox after reading a thread from someone else with a very similar problem. This did not help, even after giving it time to replicate. If anyopne out there can help, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
