How to create file location live link in a Lotus Notes email that works in Outlook?

Outlook 2007 with Error 80040201
Sending mail fails with a 80040201 error. Receiving mail (from Hotmail using POP3) works fine. By the way, password must be 16 characters or less. The Information Store Viewer utility (MDBVU32) does not show a Read Receipt waiting to be sent. Any other ideas?
