Outlook calendar invite send from a different user

When in Outlook, if I have my Boss's calendar open and schedule a meeting on my calendar, it places the meeting on hers and sends an invite form her as if she set it up herself. To avoid this, I have to close her calendar so that I can send an invite from me. Any thoughts on why this happens?
