I am having an issue with a client’s machine, the machine in question keeps prompting the user for the password each time the user opens outlook. I have looked at the event logs and found several errors but upon investigating them I cannot find the solution.

User is using Outlook 2007 with all update and service packs installed.

The machine is XP Pro on an SBS 2008 domain running exchange 2007

No other issues exist for this machine and it was joined to the domain correctly with no issues. I have even saved the password in the password manager but this didnt work I then deleted it again.

The following is the event error

Event ID 1000 – Source Microsoft Office 12

Faulting application outlook.exe, version 12.0.6539.5000, stamp 4c12486d, faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, stamp 00000000, debug? 0, fault address 0x02cccf2e.

No one else is having this issue
Can anyone point me in the right direction please

I received a read receipt back shortly but then, about a week later, I received a read receipt from someone who I did NOT send the email to. Ironically enough, it was the same person who manages my email service. Is it possible for someone to configure my personal email to unknowingly send all of my sent emails to their inbox (or something similar)?
