Error Message when sending Outlook contact list

My colleague sent me an email attachment which is a list of contact that probably came from an Outlook list…when I try to open the document I get the following error: “This contact group has been edited wiht a newer version of Outlook and contains too many members to display.”

How to sort emails using Outlook 2003 email FROM field?

Issue: When sorting email messages using FROM field, emails from Jane Doe appear with multiple display names. For example:

FROM field = Jane
Email address in email header = Jane [jdoe@email.com]

FROM field = jdoe@email.com

Even though Jane appears in my Outlook Contacts as:
Full name: Jane Doe
File as: Doe, Jane
Email address: jane@email.com
Display name as: Jane Doe

Can I sort them by email address and not display name? Currently I have to look through the emails FROM “Jane” then scroll down past some other names and look through a second group of emails FROM “jdoe@email.com” Can Outlook group them both together since they come from the same email address?

I have outlook 2003 , Iwas told 2007 has a much improved contact catagorizer. Question-when purchasing 2007 which addition should I purchase to get this outlook improvement.In other words can I purchase the Home office/Student version ( which is the lest expensive)
