Outlook 2000 upgraded to Outlook 2007

I upgraded from Outlook 2000 to Outlook 2007, but none of my

contact list or prior e-mails have migrated over.

I found what is probably the outlook.pst file, but for some reason

it won’t open… as if I don’t have a program that can read it.

Any ideas ?

1997-2003 Outlook – Step by Step Signature update

Open email from
me.

Save
attachment to desktop.

Right click zip
attachment/ Save as/ Save in: “Desktop”/ SAVE

Open “Signature Steps 1997-2003F” folder/ double click “Label
World Sig Template” update “Name, Job Description, Appropriate phone #”

All text: “Aligned to left”

Font: Arial

Font size: 11 point

Font color: “Dark Blue”

Label World logo: Stays under “Phone”# location,

Label World logo: Stays size it is.

Label World logo: Stays in color

All Logos & size of logos stay where they are.

SAVE AS/ Save in: desktop/Save as type: “Rich Text Format”/SAVE

Go back to: “Signature Steps
1997-2003F” folder (on your desktop)

Open “1997-2003F Step by Step Signature update” (PDF file).

Follow these steps:

Open “Microsoft Outlook”

                Go to: “Tools” menu

                                Select
“Options”

Once “Options”
opens, click “Mail Format” tab, click
“Signatures”.

                Click
“Signature Picker”

                       Click
“New”

                              Click
“Use this file as a template”

                                      Click
“Browse”

    Find
file saved to your desktop earlier.

                      Click
“Next”

                                Click
“Finished”

Go to: “Choose default signature”, make sure this new
signature name is set as default.

Hit “New” (to compose new
message)

Is new layout signature layout
there?

Retrace steps, or get assistance.

Done

The Signature template I created was saved in 1997-2003 Word Format, it also included a jpg logo image.

But once all is done above, only an X with box around X shows.

Any Ideas would be great.

Use of Internal Certificates to filter mail box

I was wondering if it is possible to filter incoming mail by searching for the attachment of an internal certificate. I am considering setting a rule which collates all e-mail from users that have created mail with a certificate to direct this into a new folder. This will only apply to internal e-mail across our organisation therefore I will know the names of those users that I am expecting to use certificates. any one else using certificates for whatever reason will not be filtered into this new folder.

Compacting Outlook Express deleted all my contacts!

Exchange 2000 can send but can’t receive

i am having problem with our exchange 2000 server, we can send and receive emails outside but unfortunately the recipients cant receive our email…i’ve tried everything but still it doesn’t works..

Any help is appreciated,
