Outlook 2007 email dissappears

I am runninng Outlook 2007 on Exchange 2007, when I download the emails it pop in but then it all dissapper. It's not in the deleted folder at all. Data files is set to OST and I don't have an AntiVirus running.

I know what a. OST file is, however I am being asked to make and "HTML email in .OST format" and that I don't know. Is there a special way of writting the code in that case? How would this be different from an HTML email that's made specifically for Outlook users?

I've been asked to create an html email in .OST format... What is that supposed to mean "html email in .ost format"? How does one program such a file? I am currently creating HTML emails that are red by corporations that use mostly Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007 so all IE based no Gecko browser.
