Does V6R1 Support previous versions
Does V6R1 still support older versions of IBM OS/400. E.g. does it still support IBM System36, IBM System 38, File naming conventions (TU.TABLE),relative files of System36 etc

When a service engineer log into an AS/400, is there a way to bypass Systems Activity Logging? Meaning the login does not show on Activity Log. This is talking about a running AS/400 without powering down or reIPL.

Can I hot-swap hard drives on AS400?
I have a failed drive on 9406-620. This leaves me with 4 drives unprotected. I’m concerned if I shut the system down it will not come back up. Is there a way to hot swap a drive or to deactivate the 5 drives (moving date to other drives). Ihave plenty of unused space on remaining drives. [...]

Just upgraded our Dev box from V5R4 to V6R1. I am now noticing numerous job logs being generated for QZSOSIGN, Signon Server Job. I can tell by the joblog entries that request is for user Qsecofr, how do I track it back to what job is actually making this request ?
