The hard drive has been wiped so there is no OS on it currently. I downloaded ubuntu v9.04 on a live CD, but it won’t boot even after i select boot from CD. I also have a different CD reader than what the laptop came with b/c it broke. Any ideas what is wrong and any way I can put Ubuntu on?

It contains SCSI hard disks and the Hard Disk is connected to the motherboard with RAID controller Card. When I try to install windows 2003, the OS is not recognize the Hard Disks. So I cant Install the Operating System to the server machine.The machine conot have a floppy drive slot in the motherbord,the OS take the SCSI driver only from the floppy.
