I recently upgraded to a new computer – with Win 7 OS

After some work getting oracle ODBCs created with
C:WindowsSysWOW64odbcad32.exe,

Crystal 9 would not connect to oracle ODBCs correctly using the default install location [got TNS error]
I had to install it at C:Crystal Reports 9 — it then worked fine.

However, any reports using the Azalea Brand barcode software would not compile

example formula: BarcodePostnet({taplet1_txt.ZIP})

error: UFL u2lbcode.dll that implements function is missing

I have run Azalea softwares POSTSetup.exe and copied barcode.dll and u2lbcode.dll to multiple locations

c:windowssystem32

c:windowscrystal [had to create this subdir]

The Azalea Crystal 9 / win XP pdf documentation says dll should be in
C:Program FilesCommon FilesCrystal Decisions2.0bin
but this directory does not exist with my installation of crystal

Azalea website documentation s says dll should be in
c:windowssystem32 for win XP and Win 7

I also checked where other user function dlls that do show up in crystal [ELEMENTke u25dts.dll] are stored and put dlls tin same location

C:Program Files (x86)Common FilesBusiness Objects3.0bin

C:Program Files (x86)Common FilesCrystal Decisions2.0bin

[these subdir do not exist under c:Program Files

I also Tried to register dll with no luck regsrvr32 …. [“the specified module cannot be found”>

Any ideas on how to get u2lbcode.dll recognized by Crystal 9 on this win 7 installation would be greatly appreciated

Thank You
