OMS user name

i’m trying to reconfigure the OMS since i’m new in this company.
and i don’t have any previous data from the old DBA except the sys user ans password which is a sysdba user.

i recreated sysman user and i’m trying to reconfigure Oracle Management server, (after trying all current user in vain) i’m still getting the same message:
“No repository was found for product “/com/oracle/Sysman/EM/EMSystem” in schema for user “SYSMAN” ”

or whatever user i tried to connect with.

i need either to know the repository user or to modify it.

please help!!

Oracle OMS – Please Help

i’m expert on SQL Server, but new to Oracle world.
the oracle is installed on Windows 2000, if i need to do anything (backup, creation of new Shema, importing data…)it gives me that i have to use OMS .
i found that OMS needs sysman user,
or after searching i found that this username doesn’t exist, maybe someone or the old DBA has deleted it.
i found on google search the below query to re-create the sysman user and i run it on my server, but i don’t even have a tablespace called MGMT_TABLESPACE

as a result user created, but many of the privileges that should be granted were ungranted such as MGMT_USER, AUDIT_DIR…

i need to split databse, i need to take backups, i need to be able to act as DBA

what to do? please help!!!

oracle 10G Enterprise Manager

I have a oracle 10g database running on unix 64 bit. For some reason the enterprise manager GUI console suddenly stopped working. Trying to finout the reason behind it and bring it back up. I have looked at the log files (emoms). the agent is up and running. Can someone let me know how to troubleshoot this scenerio.

Need help with CORBA object error in Oracle Management Server

When I am in OMS, and try to shut the DB down, I receive a CORBA Object_not_found error. Does this mean that I have not installed the CORBA objects correctly?
