Report taking long time before opening
Hi All We are running Oracla based ERP solution. 9i , D2K and JVM. Everyday after 6 PM all the reports are taking long time before opening I am using HP Proliant DL 380 G5 server with 2 GB RAM having 2 partitions . C mirrored 2 x 72 GB SAS HDD. D drive with 4 SAS 72 GB HDD RAID 5. Wetried changing...

how to access fields of table along with their datatypes in oracle
Dear Oracle gurusI am using oracle 9I. i want to access fields of table along with their datatypes at runtime..to see structure of table 'desc' command i used.. but at runtime how i can know datatypes or fields of a table.Thanks in advanceShailesh

Can Personal Oracle 7 or Oracle Developer/2000 be installed in XP?
I have an older version of Oracle, Personal Oracle 7 and Oracle Developer/2000 which were designed for Windows 95 and NT. They will not install in XP (probably for obvious reasons). Is there a way to get them to install? Is there a patch or something that will allow me to install them??? Also.......
