hi , first i installed (oracle database 10g) then

i installed (oracle application server 10g) in my computer (windows server 2003)

and i want to run the form’s , note that theese form’s i desgned it in other computer

i need to know what is the steps to configure and run the form’s without installing (oracle developer 10g)

Hi All,

I have successfully Installed Oracle 10 g XE. When I Click ‘Go to Database Homepage’ to access the database the webpage shows an Error message “unable to establish a connection.”

What could be the possible reasons for this error?

and How can I fix it?

Auditing Oracle 10g and above

Is it possible to fully audit Oracle Databases without Oracle’s audit tools? At least on 10g and above, many of the configuration files that could be reveiwed and audited for content and permissions no longer exist or are not used. Init.ora, sqlnet.ora are no longer used, and I suspect I will find others as I proceed. Has Oracle become the new IBM of account control? I’ve some Oracle experience with older version, and I can’t find ways to pull this info. Our DBA can only give me Oracle Enterprise Manager screen shots but can’t tell me a $V_ view or even whick files to query any of this info from, including the permissions for the options since there is no longer a file that contains the parameters. Any suggestions? Has Oracle locked us into finding more money we don’t have for hidden cost? I’m beginning to see some of the same issues with finding standards for their Enterprise Linux. It’s not really Linux anymore.

I have installed Oracle database 10g and Oracle developer in same machine named “web1″. I am able to execute a form through web from the same machine as follows. http:\\web1:8889formsfrmservlet but when i try to access this from another machine web 2. I am getting only a message “Oracle Application Services successsfully installed”.Not getting the expected form output…Please help

I downloaded Oracle Database 10g Express Edition from Oracle site and i successfully installed in my system but while login i showed an error like “could not establish connection by network card”
