I had a Microline 321Turbo in my Pharmacy and was working fine until a surge messed it up. I bought a new ML320T and made sure that the configuration is the same. However, it is printing 3 lines of garbage characters and at times it prints in the roller. I made sure the labels are printing on a 3″ label. When I spoke to my HMS (Healthcare Management Syste) Helpdesk team they told me that the OKI DATA emulation mode has to be compatible to the HP 5e or HP6 data stream that is sending to the printer. The printer is connected from the parallel port back into an HP 170 jetdirect card. Is there someone that would know how to fix this issue? I have spoke with HMS and they say that they no longer support Dotmatrix printers and I spoke to OKIDATA and they told me that it is my Hospital Information System that is not configured properly. HELP!!
