<p>A user recently gave me some &#8220;corrupt&#8221; 2003 .ppt files; these open fine in Office 03, but refuse to open in Office 07.  07 complains saying: &#8220;PowerPoint can&#8217;t open the type of file represented by filename.ppt&#8221;</p>
<p>Was curious if anyone has a workaround for this, as I&#8217;ve never seen 07 not able to open 03 documents.  Have tested the file on several computers and verified that the file is good and readable in 03&#8230;</p>
