Lotus SmartSuite to MS Office 2003 Conversion Software

I am looking at ways of converting Lotus SmartSuite files to MS Office 2003 files. I have seen software that will convert certain componentstypes of SmartSuite files but I am looking for an automated tool that will scan a hard drive or network share, identify the files with SmartSuite extensions and then convert them to the MS Office equalivents. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Converting Oracle Report 6i into Excel

the problem is in report the data is correct but when i try to convert into excell the dupicate rows are beuing formesd..i also did a page protect variation but report changes but not the converted file. if i have 50 records on page 1 then in report it shws 50 rows only but in xcel it shows 55 rows 5 of the next page…and when i go to 2nd page and convert it into excel then it repeats those 5 rows twice that means extra rows are being displayed i am in fix please help me as soon as possible

Outlook Does Not Complete Loading

The Outlook version is 2003 as a part of the basic Office suite.
Windows XP SP3
Both up to date with patches and updates.
Outlook does not complete loading. You get the screen with the Outlook template opened, but it then hangs.
The only error or warning thrown that I have been able to find is
Event ID: 2002
Source: LoadPerf
Type: Warning
Description: The MOF file created for the Outlook service could not be loaded.
The error code returned by the MOF Compiler is contained in the Record
Data. Before the performance counters of this service can be collected
by WMI the MOF file will need to be loaded manually. Contact the vendor
of this service for additional information.
Searching around leads me to believe the problem is caused by an Outlook add-on. Bring Outlook up in safe mode, the behavior remains the same. Removing EXTEND.DAT does not change the behavior either in normal mode or safe mode.
Removing athe A/V program (Norton) does not improve behavior. even with the removal of EXTEND.DAT.
I ran a repair, still no joy.
I removed the Office suite with the Microsoft Fixit! program, and cleaned the registry with jv16.
After the appropriate restarts. I reinstalled Office and reconfigured Outlook. Outlook is still failing to start.
It is able to send the test message from the account screen, and has throughout.
Can anyone offer help?

Markup changes in Word 2003 when attaching to Outlook

Hi,

I have a strange problem that I can’t figure out. Using Word 2003 SP3 to edit a document. All the changes have been accepted and the doc is saved on a network share. When it is opened from the share, it looks correct. When it is attached to an email – Outlook 2003 – and sent, in “View – Print Layout” the Table of Contents numbers have changed. Does anyone know what might be causing this?

Excel 2007 and Picture mode

When working in Excel 2007 Compatability Mode (XP, 2003 Office) when i go to cut, copy past the data into another spread sheet it pops into Picture Mode and locks up the data.

If I put the data into 2007 and then cut, copy, paste it is editable and I can work with the data.

Is there any way to turn off Picture Mode? Is there something triggering this? I even tried to move all the data into a text file the other day and it locked into Picture Mode.

Display External File Properties in Excel

I have an MS Access database that uses two tables (tblOrders1 and tblOrders2) that are linked to two MS Excel spreadsheet files (Orders1.xls and Orders2.xls). The Excel spreadsheet files are occasionally updated by being replaced with new files with the same file names. I want to continuously display the Excel files “date modified” dates on one of the database forms (frmOrders). I cannot determine how to retrieve the “date modified” dates so they can be displayed on the form. Can anyone help? I am very weak in VBA. Thanks.

I want to replace the dictionaries on all of our windows xp sp3 with outlook 2003 and office 2003. I want to include the company name as well as last names of employees and push it out. How can I do this as easy as possible?

2010 Office sync with PDA

How do I prevent 2003 installation attempts after Office 2010 is installed?

I have 2010 office pro installed. Everytime I open it through a document or though start bar, the appropriate 2010 application begins to open. But then, I get the please wait while 2003 install wizard configures. I have to cancel out of the 2003 wizard several times, but I do get to 2010 eventually. Any ideas how to get the 2003 install attempts to stop.
