ODS Index Regeneration in Process Chains

Hi,

We have a Process chain which has a standard program to regenerate indexes to the ODS.
Can anyone give me some pointers on what is regeneration of index for an ODS in process chains.

Delete ODS request via Process Chain

How can I delete all requests in ODS via Process chain; except last day of the week and last they of the month I do not want to delete.
