Removing CDP numbers from switches
HOW DO TAKE NUMBERS OUT OF A SWITCH THAT HAVE BEEN CDP’D TO THAT SWITCH AND REPLACE THEM WITH NEW NUMBERS. WE ARE ADDING BLOCKS OF 200 CONSECUTIVE NUMBERS TO REMOTE SWITCHES AND NEED TO CHANGE OUT THE EXISTING NUMBERS FOR THE NEW CONSECUTIVE NUMBERS.

Does anyone know how I set up a linear hunt group for Nortel CS1000? I need to have 3 extensions in the hunt, number one will ring and if not answered it would roll to 2nd phone and the 3rd number will ring at the same time on 9 phones. I know I need MCR [...]

Dial a cell phone on a Nortel CS 1000
We own a Nortel CS1000 Option 61 and I will like to dial to a cell phone just by dialing a number and then the extension number. For example Jones ext is 2444 to dial his cell just dial 82444.

Is there any way to make a 2500 phone ring back to itself for testing purposes? At the present time we need two people to do this testing. I was told that there was a code you could dial and then hang up and the phone would ring back to itself. Any ideas? Nortel CS1000 [...]

Changing RNPG on a Nortel CS 1000
We Recently installed a Nortel CS1000. Can anyone tell me what load (i.e ld 20) in the virtual system terminal and the command sequence to change the call pickup group (RNPG)?? everything seems to be ok in the GUI interface for these extensions, but I’m finding a lot of times the gui changes don’t take.
