I am trying to add the forward function to the _reportitem code in Outlook 2007 in order to forward NDR’s to another internal account. Can anyone help?

We have a user who tries sending emails from her yahoo account to to work account. According to our Exchange 2003 server, it sends an NDR to the yahoo account. The user has yet to see an NDR in her account. Any ideas why?

Sometimes it takes over a month to get NDR for a mail sent. How can i check NDR timeout settings?

Are there any tools out there to help compile and analyze non-delivery reports? I get thousands of NDR emails a week and to go through them individually is painful. Is there anything that could say analyze my NDR box and give me a list similar to:

Undeliverable email notice containing deleted email accounts

I have removed a number of email accounts months before. Why are these names keep appearing in the undeliverable notice when an email is sent to a email distribution group ? It is even more strange when these names are a member of the email distribution group.

I have two different sites with Exchange Server 2000 installed, and both are not sending non-delivery reports (NDRs) to the sender. It will only send a copy of the NDR to a specified recipient. Why might it do this?

I’ve an issue here that maybe some of you folks can help me with?

I run a server 2003 shop with exchange 2003 (sp2). From time to time my users receive NDR’s; see below for an example.

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

Subject: RE: new e mail account
Sent: 2/12/2009 8:41 AM

The following recipient(s) cannot be reached:

‘Jasper Darson ‘ on 2/14/2009 7:57 AM
Could not deliver the message in the time limit specified. Please retry or contact your administrator.

The domain name is darson.com.tw, after doing an nslookup (q=mx), I get a mail server with the name “mail.darson.com.tw”. From inside my companys network when I attaempt to connect via telnet (to test), the telnet session goes blank or hangs? It hangs not only from the exchange box but from any other server or wokrstation from inside the network?

I can connect from home (or my personal exchange server) with no problems. Could the companies IP be blocked by this particular remote server? I have a handful of similar situtations.

Please advise.

We have recently deployed an SBS 2003 server with SP2 with the assistance of our local “server guru”. Exchange is not configured for the company use at the moment, but should be sending reports out every morning. Currently, two out of three persons on the delivery list are unable to recieve reports – the system shows a MSD Exchange Transport error as above. The “server guru” says the problem must be at the receiving end, as he is able to get these daily reports – but that doesn’t help us correct the situation to enable our own notifications. Any thoughts or suggestions very welcome….this is beyond what we do in-house at the moment.
